As of SEP 14, you can incorporate CleanWipe functionality directly into the Symantec Endpoint Protection client package.CleanWipe does not support command line use you must manually run CleanWipe.To remove NortonLifeLock software, see Download and run the Norton Remove and Reinstall tool. CleanWipe only removes Symantec software, such as Symantec Endpoint Protection.
While CleanWipe can remove older installations of Symantec Endpoint Protection, you should not use an older version of CleanWipe to remove a newer version, as this action can have unexpected results. You should always use the latest version of the CleanWipe removal tool to uninstall Symantec Endpoint Protection.You should only use CleanWipe as a last resort when the usual uninstallation methods are unsuccessful.
